After reading 'Animal farm'...

The detailed story of 'Animal farm' can be read here(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal-Farm).. In the end,the
7 commandments created by Major(refers to Lenin),were changed
according to the will of Leader Comrade Nepolean(referring
Stalin)..atlast they were all changed in to one 'ALL ANIMALS ARE
EQUAL,BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS'..most revolutions are
started wit lots of ideals but ended as failures..bcoz what we need
are reforms not revolutions..I personally feel that, communism is
against nature..no man is equal..not by birth, but by character and
capability..Communism is failed, bcoz it sees man as economic units nd
concludes that he needs nothing other than money..work or no
work,performance or no performance.PAY EQUAL..that's why
communist govts(actually Kingdoms) are always ended in
dictatorship..divergence of views hav been suppressed..that's why
China regulates everything, which paper it's citizen should read, which
web he should surf, which tv he should watch..CHINA'S ECONOMY IS
CAPITALIST,IT'S GOVT IS DICTATORSHIP.some uncomfortable questions 'll
be asked in the next post to leftists.

Animal farm 2

As the Introduction of the UBSPD to the "Animal farm" observes,"Animal
farm" tells the story of a revolution that fails because it's leaders
have been corrupted by power". It further
informs us about how Orwell thought of publishing this novel
himself,as the manuscript was rejected by many British publishers. The
reason was obvious. The book targeted USSR,especially
JosefStalin.During the world war II,USSR was the principal ally of the
West in defeating Hitler.Publishers considered it 'unwise' to approve
the novel. The story reminds Lord Acton's thesis,"Power tends to
corrupt;absolute power corrupts absolutely".It's not a simple fairy
story,but a political allegory.It explains the consequences of a
dictatorship that is corrupted by power. I'll
say abt the characters in the novel wit their comparison in history of
Soviet Union in the next post:)

George Orwell's "Animal Farm" I

I was eager to read this novel, from the moment one of my professors
talked about it.That was some two years back.Yesterday,I got the
novel.I knew the reason of my interest.I read two articles of George
Orwell,a year back. One was about the fate of creative literature in
the totalitarian states behind the iron curtains. I
knew 'Animal Farm' was a political allegory targetting 'Soviet Union'
and it's socialist ideas and Stalin's dictatorship.Orwell once wrote
"Since 1930 I had seen little evidence that USSR was progressing
towards anything that one could truly call Socialism. On the contrary,I
was struck by clear signs of its transformation into a hierarchical
society,in which the rulers hate no more reason to give up their power
than any other ruling class..." So it's the
background..I'll say more abt it in the next post.

what I'm going to do??

As a student of Literature,it's time to write about what I read..now I'm reading George Orwell's Animal Farm.I am eager to read this novel, because it's a satire on Russian revolution.Politically,I belong to the right wing.So it's interesting to mock "Left liberals"..I''ll write about it in the next post.Mahatma Gandhi's autobiography is the first book I read in my life apart from text books.well, write about it soon.
